Same local network: Local. Somewhere else: Remote. Local can be a cable or wireless.
Read the four-character code, or send a link that lasts 3 minutes. The code refreshes every 3 minutes until someone uses it.
Drop a file or a folder. The other side chooses where to save. Both windows stay open.
Under Local or Remote, choose Send to many. The host adds the files and sends them. People with the code download. The file is not written to the server. The room closes when the host leaves. 12 people at most.
Once connected, you can send a short note. The note also stays between the browsers.
